Crispy, thin and full of history: our artisanal pane carasau is made following the ancient Sardinian tradition, with a double baking process that gives it its unmistakable crunch. Handcrafted in the heart of Sardinia using just a few simple ingredients – durum wheat semolina, water, yeast and salt – it is worked with patience and skill, as handed down by local bakers.

Perfect for breaking into pieces and serving as an appetizer, or to accompany vegetables, dips and salads, pane carasau pairs beautifully with our plant-based products: try it with a few shavings of Veghurì classico, a spoonful of creamy Riskù, or the flavorful cubes of our marinated Kubì. For a gourmet twist, lightly moisten it, drizzle with olive oil and a pinch of salt, and bake to create pane guttiau – a fragrant and even tastier variation.
